The Project
Known as the POM Tank 8 project, work consisted of design and construction of a new storage tank with foundations, associated infrastructure including upgraded access and associated pipework.
Scope:
- Awarded in 2017
- Forms part of Saunders expansion into PNG, that included the creation of a wholly owned subsidiary, Saunders (PNG) Limited
- This project is a continuation of a long term history of design, construction and maintenance projects for ExxonMobil group companies covering Australia, PNG and the Pacific Islands
- Work undertaken by a team comprising both local labour and Saunders skilled expat personnel
- Off-site component of the work undertaken in Saunders Condell Park workshop
