Saunders successfully delivered a critical infrastructure project as part of the Larrakeyah Defence Precinct Redevelopment Program (LDPRP), with Laing O’Rourke serving as the Managing Contractor. 

The project involved the design and construction of four new bulk fuel storage tanks alongside the installation of:

• Fuel quarantine and sampling systems
• Offloading and dispensing filtration and pump stations
• Electrical and instrumentation systems
• Safety and process control systems

Saunders also connected these systems to site-wide piping and wharf hydrant lines at one of Australia’s major operational defence bases
