Saunders was awarded a design and construct contract by Tomingley Gold Operations for the Kyalite Road Realignment, a key enabling component of the Tomingley Gold Mine Expansion Project.
The project supports the expansion of mining operations by improving transport efficiency and safety through the separation of public traffic from mine haulage vehicles. It represents a new client relationship for Saunders, secured through strong regional engagement and civil capability.
Construction is scheduled to commence in March 2026, with completion expected in March 2027.
Scope of Works
- Design and construction of a five-span, 120-metre concrete precast bridge
- Piling, earthworks, drainage and pavement construction
- Installation of associated civil infrastructure to improve site access
- Traffic management and staged delivery to minimise disruption during construction
