EC&M Limited awarded Saunders a major works contract to construct 9 new process tanks at Cowal Mine, one of Australia’s largest gold mines.
Scope:
- Construction of 7 of 13.8m diameter x 16.8m high CIL Flotation Tank
- 1 of 10.7m diameter x 15 high Cyanide Destruct Tank
- 1 of 5.0m diameter x 5.0m high Pregnant Solution Tank
- Cowal Mine is located in an environmentally sensitive area and therefore stringent environmental management control must be adhered to
